Our Return Policy

Surplus CD ROM's No Hassle Return Policy

We offer a 30 day return on any software purchase.

We will issue a refund for any of the following reasons:
- Product broken or damaged while in transit.
- Product won't run on your machine.
- Product is defective (i.e. scratched CD).

We want every customer to be happy with their purchase. If for some reason, you're not satisfied with the product, we want to make it right with you.

In order to get a refund, you'll need to return the product to us, along with any packaging. Everything MUST be in good condition unless it was damaged in transit. Note that we do not reimburse for return postage, but we will credit you your product purchase plus the initial shipping charge.

As many of you have probably noticed, this isn't the normal software return policy of most stores. Most stores will NOT take back any opened software. We do. Because of this, we track all returns. If a customer has an excessive amount of returns, we reserve the right to suspend this policy for that customer and allow them only returns on unopened merchandise.

Packaging Information

  • Jewel Case (Retail Jewel Case)

  • A CD (or CDs) enclosed in a hard plastic case (the jewel case). Often a liner in the lid of the case holds a cover and/or may contain a small manual for installation and game play instructions. These are traditionally used to hold CDs and are found inside the Retail Box that you purchase in stores.

     

  • Retail Box

  • A Retail Box is the same product you would find in a store. Retail Box is what you would buy over the counter at your local Best Buy or CompUSA.

     

  • Sleeve

  • CD IN SLEEVE, CD Only is as stated. it does not come with the box or manual, You can register the software online, and print the manuals from the software's "help me file."

     

  • OEM

  • An OEM (original equipment manufacturer) is a company that uses product components from one or more other companies to build a product that it sells under its own company name. OEM software consist of the media software & license without the box and manuals. CD Only or OEM is as stated. Although it does not come with the box or manual, You can register the software online, and print the manuals from the software's "help me file."

     

  • All products sold are guaranteed to be 100% authentic non-counterfeit. Tab Distribution. Purchaser acknowledges OEM versions are intended only for resale with new PC/Hardware and purchaser assumes all liability for compliance with end user restrictions. Purchaser accepts all responsibility for full compliance with manufacture restrictions.

    Phone orders are also bound by these restrictions and purchaser may view a copy of this agreement on our web site.

    Images are for display purposes ONLY. They should not be used to determine whether a product is Retail or OEM, for example. Customer should fully read the descriptions to determine if a product is suitable.

    Out of Stock Policy

    If for some rare occasion we are out of the product that you order, we will hold the order until the product arrives in our warehouse, this is usually no more than 2 - 7 days.  In the event that we cannot reorder the stock, we will credit back your account immediately.  There are some instances in which we are temporarily out of stock but expecting at any time - with these products you will note that there is no order button.  Please check back in a couple days and I am sure that we will have in stock.

    You will note that we carry an especially large selection of Children and Educational Software as well as an ample selection of Family Games, Utilities and Reference Titles - We also have a tremendous selection of MAC titles.  Our goal is to create a site that is family, children and educationally oriented.  We believe in family values and are doing our best to uphold them.

The customer will be responsible for return freight charges should you refuse delivery of the product, or if the product is unable to be delivered to you.
    • We reserve the right to reassess shipping charges based on actual cost. In no event will TAB Distribution charge the customer without their permission via email.
      • In order to offer our shipping rate and save you money on shipping costs, TAB Distribution processes your order with just the contents of the box (CD, Manual, Registration Card, etc.). Due to the massive volume of excess packaging material, TAB Distribution does not ship the box. The weight of the box causes the product to go over the two (2) lb. rate.

        Throughout this entire site all prices are in U.S Dollars. All orders are billed and charged in U.S. currency and will be converted to customer's local currency by Visa or MasterCard at the then-prevailing exchange rate. TAB Distribution makes no warranty, express or implied, to any rate. Although we take great care to ensure that all prices on this web site are accurate, errors do occur from time to time.       Technical Support

      No, We are resellers, technical support numbers will likely be on the packaging.  The publisher is generally responsible for tech support. Technical support is provided by the Manufacturer and/or Publisher of the Software Title. Please refer to telephone number and address located on each individual title. Most products include documentation with instructions to run the Software. Please read all documentation provided thoroughly along with contacting the Manufacturer directly before contacting. If the Title proves to be unreadable after following all steps provided above, please contact our Technical Support Department to obtain an RMA number and to arrange for an immediate replacement.
